His will filed July 29, 1709/March 9, 1711: Eldest son Thomas and his heirs to receive plantation, 100 acres where he now lives; son Van and his heirs, 110 acres, residue of said tract; son Samuel and heirs, dwelling plantation and land at death of his mother. If either Van or Samuel dies, his part to go to young brother John; else he is to have personalty at his majority; His wife Jane, extra, all personal estate.
